Frequently Asked Questions
Question// What is this place?
Response// This is a dragon roleplay site.
Question// What is roleplay?
Response// If you don't know what roleplay is, then you don't need to be here.
Question// Do I have to be a certain roleplay level?
Response// Nope. We accept all levels of roleplaying; beginner through advanced.
Question// How do I create a dragon?
Response// Simple. Click on the Give Life board under the Character Creation category. Once there, take a look at the form for your dragon. Then decide whether you want a true dragon or a subspecies, and post the biography in the corresponding board.
Question// Does my biography have to be accepted before I can roleplay?
Response// No. Your biography will be looked over by a staff member, and if all is well, they will accept it and place a checkmark in the title. You can begin roleplaying even before this happens. But, if a staff member finds a problem, you must go back and fix it. Failure to do so could mean deletion all of your posts.
Question// What's a good age for my dragon?
Response// That is really up to you. To view the ages and descriptions of the dragon at different ages, click here.
Question// I've made posts but my post count doesn't go up, it stays at zero; why?
Response// Post count is disabled on every board except the Arena. This is because post counts are used raise your fighting stats.
Question// What are fighting stats and how do I see them?
Response// Your fighting stats are as follows: Hit Points [HP], Attack [ATK], Defense [DEF], and Renown [REN]. To see them, simply go to your profile. You will find them on the left side under your name in any post as well.
Question// What are the fighting stats used for?
Response// The fighting stats are used in the judging of fights any of your dragons may get into. The dragon with the best Attack, Defense, etc. is more likely to win. But that does not mean it automatically will. Your hitpoints are tracked by the judging staff member, and as soon as you run out, you die.
Question// How do I increase my fighting stats?
Response// To increase your fighting stats, you must engage in battles in the Arena. Simple sign up your dragon[s] for a fight and then play it through.
Question// Can I lose Arena battles?
Response// Yes, you can lose Arena battles. But it is extremely hard to do so. The dragons you fight in the Arena are all random characters made specifically for that fight. They are inferior to your dragon, whether they think so or not.
If you have a question, feel free to post a new thread or PM me. It will be added here.
