 Rubuez vs Hiktek [Judged]

Hiktek steadied herself behind the bars, blinking as her eyes adjusted quickly to the harsh glare of the sun-baked dirt of the arena. She approached her bars, staring out into the arena with an anxious glance. She hated fighting, as most Bronze Dragons do. But she knew that she wouldn't be put against a dragon unless it had done something bad. Growling, she began to pace back and forth at the bars, waiting to be released.

Seeing as her opponent had less fights under his belt, he was considered the challenger. Therefore, she got to be let out first. With a very theatric and dramatic entrance nonetheless. And that was exactly what she would deliver. Her gate began to rise, and she took a step back, hiding in the darkness until it had fully risen. Suddenly she exploded from the shadows, releasing a loud roar into the crowds. Flaring her wings, electricity jumped from her back to her wings, cracking loudly as it did so. The spectators went wild.

Finished with her entrance, she lowered her head, tucked her wings, and prepared for the fight. She watched, ready for anything, as her opponent's gate began to lift.

Rubeuz

In the cage he could look out in the arena as he stood in the shadows. He had never thought of going back here, now that he didn't have to do this any longer. But now he had to since he knew that something bad was going to happen and that Nearoth wouldn't tell him or anyone else what it is. So it was a reason to come here as he would want to protect his Clan and his Aquarius. And he knew Nearoth was going to be in the Arena since the dragon said he would. But it was a little strange though, he knew the Japanese Weasel by now and the dragon never fights. If he wants to be in a Arena to fight then there must be a good reason.

As he was thinking lot he seem to do a bit when he thinks of Nearoth or Aquarius, the door starts to rise. A smile crossed his face, it was about time. But still he waited for to be fully open and just walked out. When he did this he really looked like a royal, grace and powerful, and to show his power he roared a mighty roar. And looked back at the female, giving her the first attack. He knew she was his opponent since she was the only one out here. And by what she did she must have electricity as her breath weapon.

Hiktek shuffled her feet nervously as the gate fully came up. She stood there with her maw hanging agape, incredulous. She had never seen a dragon scuh as him before. She wasn't sure if she wanted to fight him. A shiver ran down her spine as his roar echoed around the arena. Slowly she began to back up, not stopping until she bumped into the wall.

Her muscles tensed as she prepared for the attack that he was sure to give. She knew he was giving her the first attack, but she didn't want to fight. Bronze Dragons usually only attacked in self-defense. And even then they aim to not kill unless there is absolutely positively no other method of escape or distraction. This was the case with her. She didn't want to fight him.

Rubeuz narrowed his eyes as he had seen the fear in this dragoness with his one good eye. Well if she wasn't going for the attack then he would bring the attack right to her. He thought he would take flight and attack her that way by diving but he remembered the last battle he had. He had burned his opponent because his opponent had dived at him. With that much speed the dragon couldn't have gotten out of it in time. He wasn't going to do that so instead he would charge a different way. Crouching, to get ready he narrowed his eyes more then took off in a burst of speed as he charged on the ground. About Ruby Fire-Furreds they are great runners.

He leaped over a rock and ran to another rock as that rock he would make another and final leap. One he got there he leaped quickly at fast speed right at the dragoness. Trying to aim right at her chest so he could get her whole body in the pressure of the wall. He hoped this dragoness was strong, because he wouldn't want it to end to quickly, well at least he would get into another battle after this one.

Seeing that he was indeed having the first attack, the Bronze Dragon took only a milisecond to take in the situation. She froze up, hardly moving as he barrelled toward her. At the last possible second she ducked, crouching low to the ground and rolling under him. She felt an enormous rush of air as he swept inches above her. Rolling away, she gained her feet, knowing he'd be dazed for at least a second.

Facing him squarely, the Bronze Dragon charged her breath weapon, still not wanting to attack him. But she knew she had no choice. Just as the other fights before this, she had to fight or die trying to escape. Opening her maw, she released a bolt of lightning at where the dirt met the wall, where he should fall. Even if he wasn't dazed, he had to fall because of the sheer force of impact.

He blinked as he hit the wall instead of the dragoness as she moved away from him. He was unable to know what she was doing as he was dazed for a bit. But once he got it cleared he fell back and his left wing hurting from the lightning bolt. He fell to his side and didn't bother to get up. Not like the lightning bolt did much, he was actually faking it as he lied there, waiting for the dragoness to get closer to him. He groaned and struggled to show he was really hurt and that he couldn't get up from the pain.

He could hear her coming closer and closer. His eyes were shut as he listened as she came closer to him. Once he thought she was close enough he got to his paws quickly and made a spin quickly as he aimed his tail at her. Trying to aim at her whole body or at least knock her to the ground. And since his tail was really strong, it might even break some of her bones as well.

Seeing her breath weapon hit, the Bronze Dragon cringed inwardly. She didn't want to hurt him. But she had to. Releasing a low growl, she barreled forward, maw aimed low, for the softer underside of his body. To her utter surprise, he leaped to his feet and lashed out at her with his tail. Unable to stop moving or get out of the way, she could do nothing as his powerful tail crashed into her right side, cracking ribs. Knocked clean off her feet, the Bronze Dragon skid a few yards before finally coming to a stop. Snarling and in pain, she turned her skull toward him and fired her breath weapon two times; the first bolt was aimed directly for him, the second slightly to the right, away from the wall, the only direction he had to go.

Knowing that if she staid on the ground, she'd be killed, the female quickly scrambled to her claws. Flaring her wings, she lept from the ground, taking to the air. Never taking her eyes off her opponent, she flew high into the air, waiting for the perfect moment of attack.

Quickly he dodged the first strike of lightning by rolling on the ground. He stood up and made a run for it only that the second lightning strike missed him greatly. So it seems that his tail had done some work, well it would have to, his tail shatters boulders to thousand of peices. And using his tail is just one of his special and deadly attacks. Though his tail hadn't done much work on the dragoness, but just enough to let him have the advantage that he would need.

Looking at the dragoness as he slowed to a stop. He realized that she was taking flight, he narrowed his eyes, if she did that then she would have the upper hand. He charged at her in great speed and getting his wings ready to open so he could glide. Though it might be hard with his wing numb but he would have to try or he would lose this battle. Rubeuz leaped high and opened his wings to get a better speed. His wing started to give him a pain but he ignored it and pushed harder. Aiming right for the dragoness's throat, he opened his maw as he tried to get at the right place to win.

Snarling savagely, Hiktek fired another bolt of lightning as he came straight at her. She beat her wings as fast as she could, but she wasn't fast enough. She felt his powerful jaws close around her neck. His fangs sliced through her scales like a hot knife through butter, piercing her jugular. Instantly she lost all motor control and plummeted back to the ground. Her blood began to bubble forth around his jaws as she gasped and struggled for air. Her legs kicked out wildly, wings and tail flailing as she suffocatede. After a few moments she lay still, finally dead. An announcer's voice came over the cheering of the crowd.

The winner is Rubuez!
